Welcome to the Simsbury Woman's Club

"Serving the Community Since 1968"

The Simsbury Woman's Club is a vibrant, enthusiastic group that serves our community in many ways through our volunteer efforts. Each year over 5,000 hours are donated to such organizations as the McLean Home, the Second Chance Shop, local churches and schools. Many members participate in our Nursing Home program which serves six homes in the Farmington Valley. Other members spend time each month with residents who might otherwise not have visitors, making a positive difference in their lives.

Our main activity is the Arts & Crafts Festival, which has been held on the 2nd weekend after Labor Day every year since 1969. This two-day event involves all members in the planning and running of the event. Proceeds from the Festival enable the Club to grant scholarships to two high school graduating seniors and one to an adult Connecticut woman completing her education, as well as to make contributions to a number of area non-profit organizations. In the past 10 years, the Simsbury Woman's Club has raised more than $150,000 for scholarships and donations to the community.

Monthly meetings are held September through May, with a Christmas Luncheon in December and the Installation of Officers Luncheon in May. Each monthly meeting features a speaker or program of interest. We welcome guests and prospective new members to all monthly meetings with the exception of our December, April and May meetings. Women of  all ages are welcome to join us anytime throughout the year!
